A little bit about us...

My property journey has been rather erratic over the years; moving due to work commitments mainly but finally settled here in Bournemouth in 2004.

My interest in inventories started when we rented our house out for a short time again because of work only to find that when we returned the house was in a terrible state and the inventory had failed to protect us against the damage left by tenants due to the lack of detail.

Not one for letting things go I decided that once I had left my career as a Senior Operational Prison Governor that I would set up my own company providing inventories that are “fit for purpose”.

My long term aim is to bring about a change to the industry; to elevate the role of the humble “clerk” to one that is seen for the professionalism and skills they provide and to set the standard bar high so that whether you are a tenant or landlord you are equally protected.

Our first step was to make their title more inclusive and allow our team to "own and be proud" of their role hence why we now call our staff Inventory Associates!

We have been working with iCAT (Inventory Consultants & Training) to develop our own bespoke training package so that our team provides a comprehensive, descriptive and signposted report with clear, concise and objective evidence for each and every property we visit regardless of who instructs us.

Never ones to rest on our laurels; we've been busy bringing property related comprehensive and quality driven reporting to Letting and Estate Agents as well as private landlords, tenants, housing associations, private portfolio companies and AirBnB style hosts!   

In June 2015 we introduced our Legionella Risk Assessment service. This April (2016) we've launched our Energy Performance Certificate service and are now developing training products.
